Does DealGuard guarantee approval?

No. The app provides estimates, financial analysis, and planning guidance only. Approval decisions come from lenders, banks, credit unions, or dealer financing partners.

Is this official financial advice?

No. Use it as a planning tool before signing. Final contract terms, legal obligations, and lending decisions should be verified with the dealer, lender, or a qualified advisor.

Can the app tell me the exact APR I will get?

No. APR depends on lender rules, credit profile, vehicle, loan structure, and current market conditions. The app helps you test scenarios and understand the impact of APR.

Dealer numbers

What is a dealer or doc fee?

A dealer or doc fee is a dealership charge for processing paperwork. It is not a government tax and it increases the total cost of the deal.

Are warranties, protections, and add-ons required?

Many dealer products are optional. Extended warranties, protection plans, service contracts, and appearance packages can increase the amount financed. GAP can make sense in some situations, but should still be reviewed carefully.

What should I ask for before signing?

Ask for an itemized buyer's order, the retail installment contract, APR, term, total financed amount, finance charge, add-on contracts, and the out-the-door price without optional products.

Using the app

Why does the app ask for income and expenses?

Those numbers help estimate whether a payment fits your monthly budget. The app compares the car payment against income, recurring expenses, debts, and your preferred maximum payment.

Can I use the app without logging in?

You can start a basic check without logging in. To save evaluations, upgrade to Premium, or compare vehicles, you need an account.

Does the app scrape dealer websites or analyze images?

The app does not scrape dealer websites. Premium can read uploaded dealer documents or screenshots to prefill the deal, but you should still review the numbers before relying on them.

What does the $299 Premium plan include?

Premium includes 12 months of access to DealGuard tools plus guided support for one vehicle deal until that deal is completed, canceled, or replaced.

Is the guided support only one phone call?

No. Guided support is connected to one vehicle deal, not just one short call. The support continues for that specific deal according to the service rules.

Can I use Premium for multiple cars?

Premium gives 12 months of platform access. Guided advisor support is included for one active vehicle deal. Additional guided support for another deal may require a separate purchase.

Privacy and payments

Is my data private?

Evaluations are stored in Supabase with user-level access controls so users can only access their own saved data.

What does premium unlock?

Premium unlocks the full cost breakdown, Mia guidance, document upload, saved tools, PDF review, market/VIN tools when configured, and guided support for one vehicle deal.

Does DealGuard guarantee I will save money?

No. DealGuard does not guarantee savings, approval, or dealer acceptance. It helps you understand the numbers, identify risks, and prepare better questions before signing.

Does DealGuard replace a lawyer, lender, or financial advisor?

No. DealGuard provides educational deal review and negotiation coaching. It does not provide legal, lending, or financial advice.
