DealGuard stores your email for authentication and the finance values you submit, including income, housing, debt, credit score range, vehicle details, VIN when provided, ZIP code, vehicle price, APR, loan term, fees, taxes, add-ons, trade-in, payoff, and notes.
Your data is used to calculate affordability estimates, maintain your dashboard history, and protect account access. It is not sold or shared for advertising.
Payments are processed by Stripe. DealGuard may store Stripe customer, checkout, payment, and entitlement identifiers to unlock paid access. We may also store the plan shown at checkout, accepted billing terms, accepted policy versions, checkout email, user agent, IP address, referrer, and session identifiers for fraud prevention, payment support, and dispute response. Full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by this app.
Authentication is handled by Supabase. Evaluation rows are protected with row-level security so users can only read and write their own records.
The basic flow uses manual input. Premium features may use AI document extraction, chat assistance, VIN lookup, or market data providers when configured. Users should verify all extracted or searched information before signing.
Results are estimates only. The app does not provide guaranteed approval, replace a bank, lender, official financial advisor, or final contract review. Verify final dealer, lender, tax, fee, warranty, and add-on terms before signing.
Dealer add-ons are often optional. GAP may be useful in some cases, but users should review whether each product is needed and how much it increases the financed amount.
Users may request account or data assistance through the contact page. Some data may be retained when needed for billing records, security, or legal compliance.
